Skywalker Air had the privilege of providing professional Asheville construction photography and drone video services for Pratt & Whitney’s 1.2 million square foot advanced manufacturing facility in Asheville, North Carolina.
Spanning the length of seven football fields and positioned at approximately 2,100 feet above sea level, the facility is visible from the iconic Blue Ridge Parkway. This large-scale industrial development represents a major investment in advanced aerospace manufacturing in Western North Carolina.

Through scheduled monthly flights, we documented the full evolution of the site — from early ground preparation to steel framework, structural enclosure, and key mechanical installations.
This state-of-the-art facility includes:

A specialized sunken concrete foundation housing eight industrial furnaces
12,000 tons of structural steel
